Research Internship Program for 6 months
Work on real-world research in emerging technologies with expert labs and industry collaborations.
Background:
Dynamic, dedicated, and interested students across the globe are invited for an internship in our I-CaN R&D group to have the essence of how the cutting-edge technologies are working. Students willing to pursue higher education in India or abroad will get an early understanding of how to do meaningful research focusing on the betterment of humanity. Students in their 3rd or Final year of Under-Graduation or in their 1st or 2nd year of Post-Graduation or Early -Career PhD Students in the department of ECE/CSE/IT/equivalent stream can apply. You will be mentored by a group of highly qualified researchers across the globe, and the full list of mentors is available here.
Duration - Six Months (recommended) to One Year - Depending on the difficulty level of work and Research Problem
Topic: Related to Applied Mathematics, Discrete Mathamatics, Set Theory, Probability Statistics, Differential Calculas, Graph Theory, Quantum Computing, UAV Networks, Non-Terestrial Networks, AI/ML for Biomedical Healthcare, 6G, AI/ML for Communication, Edge/Cloud Computing, SDN (Software Defined Networking), NFV (Network Function Virtualization), SmartGrid, Machine Learning in SmartGrid, Network Security, 5G, Cloud Computing, Federated Learning in Cloud and Edge Computing, Network Slicing, SDN - Security, Blockchain, Distributed Ledger, Load Balancing, Economic architecture designing, Core 5G and beyond, Future 6G, etc.
Simulation Platform to be used: MATLAB, Mininet 2.2.0, NS-3.29, Python, Gurobi Optimizer, Latex, OMNET++, C and C++ (if required).
Prerequisites: Basic coding in Python or C++ or C, Basic knowledge in Communication Networking, Mobile communication, Wireless Communication, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning.
Mathematical Knowledge: Linear Algebra, Vector Analysis, Integral Calculus, Probability and Statistics, Game Theory, Discrete Mathematics, Graph Theory, Stochastic Geometry.
Outcome: A softcopy/hardcopy of a detailed project report must be submitted by the student at the end of this work for evaluation. The output must result in a quality publication in a reputed venue.
Certification: The work will be evaluated thoroughly, and the student will be awarded a certificate and a recommendation letter.
